Charlie is the dog who started it all - our first miniature poodle, Crystal's constant shadow from room to room, and the reason Klaus Poodles exists.

 

One of our most mellow and laid-back poodles - and, despite his easygoing nature, our alpha male: his calm, steady presence has a settling effect on the whole pack and keeps everyone else grounded.

 

He adapts effortlessly to new situations and is friendly and outgoing with everyone. His energy runs low overall, and his biggest motivator is low and his biggest motivator is love and cuddles. His toy and performance drive is low; Charlie is a companion at heart, not a sport or working prospect.

Charlie has correct conformation and a well-balanced square build. He comes from a line of stunning dark red poodles, with his dam imported from Russia. Her impressive lineage includes European and Canadian show ring champions.

He earned OFA CHIC designation by completing all health testing recommended for miniature poodles.

Charlie is available for stud service to approved breeders.
