I agree to pay Klaus Poodles ("KP") a $100 stud service reservation fee ("Reservation Fee") to reserve the male dog named above ("Stud") for breeding with the female dog named above ("Female") for the above specified month ("Reservation Period"). This Reservation Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including changes in breeding plans.

A stud fee ("Stud Fee") listed above, less any payments made such as the Reservation Fee, is due to KP at the time of the breeding service or before the shipment of the specimen.

I understand that KP prioritizes clients based on the order in which deposits are received. This means that clients who place their deposits earlier will be given preference in the selection process. However, any breeding needs or requirements of KP's own dams will take precedence over all client reservations.

I understand and agree that fees related to breeding, including but not limited to veterinary fees, progesterone testing, collection fees, travel expenses, and semen shipping and/or delivery fees, are additional costs and are the responsibility of the Dam Owner. The average expense for two side-by-side artificial inseminations in Houston at the stud dog's veterinarian (Suburbia North Animal Hospital) ranges from $320 to $600, depending on the number of progesterone tests required and if weekend service is required. The average expense for an overnight shipment of chilled semen ranges from $500 to $1,000, also depending on the number of progesterone tests and shipping costs.Suburbia North Animal Hospital Reproductive Vet Costs

I understand and agree that KP will provide the Stud for breeding purposes during the Reservation Period. Studs are reserved for service for fifteen (15) days, starting on day 6 of the female's cycle until day 20 of her heat cycle. If the Female has a stalled heat extending past this window, the Customer can transfer the Reservation Fee to her next heat cycle. If service is not completed during the Female's next heat cycle, the contract is terminated, and all obligations by KP are fulfilled. I acknowledge that successful breeding is not guaranteed.

I agree to notify KP if an adjustment to the Reservation Period in the event the Female goes into heat earlier or later than expected, or has a silent heat (the Female ovulates but doesn't show the typical signs of being in heat). KP reserves the right to deny the request for an adjustment. In such cases, any deposits paid will either be refunded or transferred to the Female's next heat cycle.

I agree to provide KP with at least sixty (60) days' notice prior to the Service Period for any requested changes to the reservation. KP reserves the right to decline such requests.

I understand and agree breeding service must be timed with Progesterone testing and performed via artificial insemination at a veterinarian's office.

I agree to notify KP in writing at info@klauspoodles.com as soon as the female starts her heat cycle, typically marked by the first sight of blood. All communications to KP regarding the breeding service should be sent to info@klauspoodles.com or texted to 281-519-2001.

I understand I am permitted to advertise the upcoming breeding using any picture downloaded from the KP website or social media accounts as long as the words "outside stud" is mentioned and a link to the KP website (http://www.klauspoodles.com) is provided.

I understand that in the event of a dispute with KP, I will not publish or discuss it in any media or forum, including social media. This does not prevent either party from taking legal action or engaging in confidential mediation.

I acknowledge that this Agreement will terminate if the service is not used within 12 months of the execution date, and KP has the option to retain the $100 Reservation Fee.
